Alpha version 0.1.0 has been released!


Hello!

I tried my hand at developing a 2D game and was able to release the first alpha version.

This is a blog to commemorate that occasion.

I love playing games, and I started developing this game because I wanted to create something myself and put it out there.

The game I developed this time has the following elements:

  • A simple 2D action adventure in a rogue-lite style
  • Green-themed story elements
  • You repeatedly go back and forth between the campsite and the stage
  • Buildings and locations are randomly generated in the stage, and you collect items while exploring
  • To add some tension, the player must escape from approaching walls
  • By placing items at the campsite, the player's status can be improved and synergy effects can be achieved. Also, new locations will be created depending on the items placed
  •  I create all the assets myself

I have developed the basic system of the game, so I decided to release it as an alpha version.

 (Sorry, it is an alpha version, so there are bugs and adjustments that have not been made.)


We will release it as an alpha version for a while while fixing bugs, but we plan to develop a beta version in parallel.

The beta version will include the following elements:

  • A simple story
  • New items and locations
  • New stages
  • New features

I'm making this on my own between work, so it may take some time, but I'll do my best to complete it.
